春休みの楽しみは選抜高校野球です。Rev.
日本では３月末に春休みがあって、その最大イベントは選抜高校野球だと、ＵＳの友人に書きたい。

Here in Japan, the school year is coming to an end. The school year in Japan ends in March and the new school year begins in the first week of April. In between the school years we have a short spring vacation. Japanese children always look forward to it! One of the popular events during the spring vacation is Japan's national high school baseball competition.
The 32 high school teams who will compete in the competition have already been chosen. The games have begun on March 18 at Koshien Stadium, located in Osaka, and the winner will be chosen on March 30. All the games will be broadcast on TV so that we can enjoy rooting for our different teams.
Just like high school football players in the U.S., the best baseball players in the tournament will be offered a career on a professional baseball team. Spectators not only enjoy watching the games, but also enjoy making predictions on who will win! I have been inspired by the power and passion of the young baseball players.

日本では、年度末を迎えています。日本の学校は3月に終わり、4月の第一週に新しい年度が始まります。その間に短い春休みがあって、子どもたちはみんな楽しみにしています！春休みの人気イベントと言えば、何といっても春の選抜高校野球です。

アメリカの高校フットボール選手のように、高校野球の優秀選手はプロ野球チームからプロ選手になるオファーをもらうことがあります。観客にとっては試合観戦だけでなく、誰がそのようなオファーをもらうのかを予想することも楽しみの一つになっています。私は、高校球児のパワーや情熱にいつも元気をもらっています。
